The important lesson that you learn when you play poker in Las Vegas should not be lost when you loose a game.  When you loose a game by playing poker in Las Vegas do not forget the lesson that the loss had taught you. Long time experience can also be deceptive, because our thinking pattern is going to be very selective and it can even mislead us when some of the things are overemphasized and some are underemphasizing.

A big win in poker in Las Vegas might be a true promise based on our estimates about the game, but when we examine it closely it might turn out to be that it is not being backed up with a good playing approach.  Always, try to verify and make sure that you are indeed playing correctly and then get an experience out of it.  Never do the reverse.  Getting experience and then doing the correct never happens. Too many years of experience is never a proof for you to be playing every hand correctly.

The same kind of card situation will occur over and over again when you play poker in Las Vegas or in some other card room.  Some players tend to be playing the same hand wrongly for many number of years, the worse of it is that they tend to do the same mistake with an expert approach! However, these people are also those that tend to bring out new ideas in solving the problems that they create for themselves.

In poker in Las Vegas even when you have no guarantee of winning you must still position yourself to winning and there are going to be many times when you are doing the right thing and you will still land up with losses.  Poker in Las Vegas is one game where you can have a lifetime experience and many every play exactly right and still loose. Never approach poker like other games. This is the most difficult concept that most players fail to understand or even try to understand.

A kind of detachment and coolness should be a part of poker in Las Vegas and there are going to be many situations when you feel that you are doing nothing wrong, but you still land up with a loss.  Cracking through such situations and making the rake is what poker is all about.  This is what makes it challenging too!
